Who should attend a Visitors Weekend?
Anyone considering MUM for possible enrollment. Parents of prospective students are also welcome.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Yes. You need to register at least 7 days in advance of the Visitors Weekend you wish to attend.
Is there a registration fee?
Yes, there is a charge of $50 to partially cover our costs.
Are all meals included?
Yes, meals include Friday dinner, all three meals on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast and lunch on Monday. The University serves organic vegetarian meals.
Is lodging provided?
Prospective students and their parents receive lodging at the Fairfield Super 8 or Best Western. Due to our increasing student enrollment, campus housing is not available for visitors.
Are travel scholarships available?
Yes, U.S. prospective students with financial need can request a travel scholarship of up to $350 to attend a Visitors Weekend. You need to complete the online Travel Scholarship Request Form if you wish to apply for this support. The David Lynch Foundation provides the funding for travel scholarships.
Will I have the opportunity to meet MUM students?
Yes, many opportunities. They’ll be joining you at meals and social events, and there will also be Q&A sessions with MUM students.
What is the cancellation policy?
To receive a refund, cancellations must be made at least 7 days before your Visitors Weekend begins.
