Dr. Travis is Professor of Maharishi Vedic Science, Chair of the Department of Maharishi Vedic Science, Dean of the Graduate School, and Director of the Center for Brain, Consciousness, and Cognition. Dr. Egenes is Associate Professor of Maharishi Vedic Science and Sanskrit. He earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia; an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Maharishi University of Management; B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. Evan Finkelstein
Dr. Finkelstein is Assistant Professor of Maharishi Vedic Science. He earned a B.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University; an M.S.W. from Yeshiva University; and an M.S.C.I. and Ph.D. from Maharishi University of Management. Included in courses taught by Prof. Finkelstein are themes such as universal principles of life expressed by Maharishi Vedic Science and the religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. More
David Pohlman
David Pohlman is Assistant Professor of Maharishi Vedic Science. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Miami University (Ohio), then his Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Maharishi Vedic Science from Maharishi University of Management. Dr. Pohlman recently served as Dean of Students.
Isabelle Matzkin
Isabelle Matzkin is Assistant Professor of Music and Maharishi Veda Science, specializing in the theory of Maharishi Gandharva Veda music, and director of the University’s Institute of Maharishi Gandharva Music. She earned a B.A. and M.A. in Music from the University of Iowa, including Highest Distinction, Special Honors student. More
Vernon Katz
Dr. Katz is Adjunct Professor of Maharishi Vedic Science. He earned a B.A. and Ph.D. from Oxford University and a Doctorate of World Peace from Maharishi European Research University. Dr. Katz, a Vedic scholar from Great Britain, worked closely with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for five years on the translation and editing of the commentary of the Bhagavad Gita, Chapters 1–6.
Sam Boothby
Dr. Boothby is Adjunct Associate Professor of Maharishi Vedic Science. He recently served the University as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and Director of the Center for Educational Excellence. He earned a B.A. in Literature from Kalamazoo College; an M.A. in Education, Maharishi University of Management; and an Ed.D. in Teaching, Curriculum and Learning Environment from Harvard University. Dr. Sands is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Maharishi Vedic Science. Dr. Gerace is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Maharishi Vedic Science and Education. Binay Krishna Baral
Binay Krishna Baral is instructor of bamboo flute in the curriculum of Maharishi Gandharva Veda Music. He earned a Master of Philosophy and Master of Music from Rabindrabharat University and a Bachelor of Teaching from Kalyani University. He was awarded a national scholarship from the government of India for advanced flute studies. More
