In the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) conducted by Indiana University’s Center for Postsecondary Research, it was found that the learning experience of Maharishi University students is among the highest in the nation.

Among the findings:

• Student-faculty interaction — top 7% of U.S. colleges
• Enriching educational experiences — top 4% of U.S. colleges

Right from the beginning, students are exposed to the top minds teaching the latest knowledge in each academic field.

The faculty lead small classes, and with our block system (one course at a time), they spend four hours or more every day with their students, going deeply into the field of study. Our students say our professors are among the most knowledgeable, caring, and supportive teachers they have ever experienced.

Making learning personally relevant

In every class, professors use Unified Field Charts that map the entire discipline of study, from its source in the unified field of nature’s intelligence to its applications in society. With these charts, students always have the whole field of study in front of them. This helps students relate each day’s class to the whole discipline and to the deepest level of their own intelligence. They feel at home with everything they study, which makes learning more effortless and enjoyable.

Professors dedicated to development of consciousness

Most importantly, the faculty have focused, under Maharishi’s guidance, on developing higher consciousness in their own lives and in society for many years. As a result they are alert, flexible, and open and expansive in their thinking. They are also dedicated to helping develop consciousness in their students.
