B.A. in Business
The B.A. in Business program prepares students to be leaders in the private or public sectors. Courses in the business curriculum encompass an international perspective to help prepare graduates to function effectively in the world’s varied cultural and business settings.
Through Maharishi’s technologies of consciousness, you’ll grow in the qualities of leadership most sought after in business: creative problem-solving ability, communications skill, integrity, stability, flexibility, dynamism, and harmony with others. You will also gain the best classical knowledge of management (finance, marketing, production, communication skills, management information systems, etc.).
Entrance Requirements
Before taking any courses in the business major or minor, students must successfully complete or waive out of the following prerequisites: College Composition II (WTG 192) and Functions and Graphs I (MATH 161). Statistics (MGT 314) is a prerequisite for the Foundations Module.
- Engagement and Entrepreneurship — The programs and courses of the B.A. in Business are oriented around real-world, active learning projects. Students write business plans for their own entrepreneurial ventures.
- Ethics and Environment — The curriculum explores issues of ethical integrity, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability to prepare business leaders to be stewards of society and the environment.
